I had HX5V since I replaced my Canon SD800IS March '10 and were very happy with what it has to offer. Capture beautiful images, but with a warning. It is not strictly a point and shoot. It has features such as handheld dusk, anti-motion blur and take some iPanorama 'knowledge and practice to get better. Most of the complaints that I read here are based on a misunderstanding of the functions of the camera, not a design error. I will address some of the issues and how I avoided or treated them.
